East or west, could home be best?

Questions bug into any fashion aware person. Choice on what is on date or that which is off today would generally alter the decision a shopper would make. Think of it as the quest for greatness. What kind of greatness you may ask. That of beauty. Contrary to opinion, beauty does not lie on the eye of the beholder. It lies on the designer, the hands behind the making of that attire you sway in. it is the designer who holds the key to creating that effect of beauty in the eyes of those who set eyes on you when you dress up for anything. Mindfully as we grasp in this focus we come back home with a further agonizing queries. How does creativity relate to what we dress up in? Traditional or urban wear, which is trendy?  Is there a wrong or right in fashion? What is the difference between fashion and style?
An overview of the Kenyan fashion designers would set of a rather short lived argument and certainly no settlement considering very few of us do recognize most if any a local designer. Hold that thought. What if i point out that Kenyan designers are all around us? That tailor who fixed your zipper last, fixed your dress to a fit to your please, have you ever considered giving it the thought that they are as creative as the initial designers or better yet better since they solved a problem that had tumbled you to their door?
Well, we settle for style not fashion since fashion fades and may grow extinct but style is eternal. Style is all about distinction and persistence. Creativity at different levels that has our arrogance and ignorance anchoring far on hold. So what is the big question? Is that trend made out of our origin with a motherly touch of harm to style or is it outdated by the western influence?
